From Gorkha to Yokosuka
Our story begins in Gorkha, Nepal — the mountain district that gave the Gurkhas their name, and our founder his birthplace. His family moved to Bharatpur, in the Chitwan lowlands, where his first job was in a resort deep inside Chitwan National Park: meals cooked over fire, shared under the trees.
That kitchen led to Yokosuka, Japan, where for more than twenty years the family has served the city — first with Yokosuka's earliest Indian-Nepali restaurants, today with a growing family of ventures that bridge two homelands: restaurants and apartments in Yokosuka; farmland, energy and healthcare in Nepal.
